Kohomba tree

The kohomba tree has a medicinal value.The tamils call it vempu.the flowering season of the tree is between March and April.every part of this tree tastes bitter.It has yellowish green fruits.It is used to make herbal oil.The seed is valuable as an insecticide.some use the twigs of this tree as a tooth brush.The green leaves are insect resistant.they are kept in between insects from destroying pages. This tree is considered as one of the most precious trees in the world.

Srilanka is a paradise for tourism.tourists come to srilanka for several purposes. One is for sun bath on the beatches.onthe other hand.they come here for thire entertainment.tourism is one way of earn ing foreign exchange.it bring in a lot of money by providing many jobs in the hotel industry and travel industry.most of tourists like to buy our traditional handicrafts,because they know the importance of them.

To develop tourism we have to improve our in frastrycture suchesroads,railways,inter national air ports,seaports,hotels anguest house.Not only that but also we have to main tain our parks,museums national parks,botanical gardens, temples,shrines and ancintfortresses and palaces with the money the tourists spend here.

The sea which is blue and calm came, rushing to the land on one sumny day.All the peaples
voices made the world cry and me too.It made our country dark and sad in one second.
And in that second all peaples life was gone, and how many children were crying for their
parents, and how many parents were crying for their children.the houses which got destroyed
remain forever.I can’t that belive that calm blue sea can do this in one minute.

Trees

The trees give us shade oxygen and food. without trees we can’t live. There are lots of trees and plants in our garden.animals eat leaves and birds eat fruit in the trees.we use trees in many ways. We take the trunk from the trees to make houses.we take fruit from the trees. Trees are useful to animals and humans.there are many kinds of trees.some are tall short and bashy each and every tree has a name.jak tree, coconut tree etc. These trees are useful. Please don’t cut down trees.

Grand father Our Grand father’s name is mohottihami.He loves us.He is a good farmer.Now he can’t work.But he lives happly.He is very kind.he has a smile on her face always.he is innocent.he doesn’t harm others.he never gets angry.My grand father is a good story teller.children are very fond of his stories.he recites poems.my younger sister and I listen to them.on poya day he is goes the templs.May lord Buddha bless my grand pa1!

Dew Drops.

Dew-dropas are beautiful as peals.early in the morning you can see dew-drops fall one by one in the morning.

The flowers hold dews on their petals. Then the flowers became more beautiful.

We can see dew-drops on the grass.when we walk on grass our feet touch them. They are very cool.when the sun rises the dew-drops disappear.

My hobby is collecting stamps.I have collected about five hundred stamps.There local stamps and foreign stamps.I have posted them in to stampalbums.There are great persons, historical palace,rare birds animals and plants.Also there are different shapes. My perents,friend help me to find new stamps.I have pen friend in japan,When I have more than one picture.I have exchange them with my friend. I use my leisure in a useful mannar.

you can find birds every where.most of them are beautiful. they are of different colours and sizes. green,black,brown,yellow.blue andwhite are some of them.there are some kinds of bird who can talk like human beings.another type imitate man .birds have wings to fly.but some cannot fly though they have wings.ostrich is one of them. it is the largest of birds.it has small wings. but cannot fly.birds like fruit as their meals.they live in jungles without anyfear.
